Place your small appliances (such as coffee makers, vacuum cleaners, computers, hair dryers, etc.) in the special recycling bins for small appliances in electrical and electronic shops, in supermarket chains, businesses and organizations, as well as in municipal places, such as Town Halls, Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP) and Open Care Centers for the Elderly (KAPI).
Large appliances (such as refrigerators, cookers, washing machines, air conditioners) can be recycled after you contact electrical and electronic stores, through your Municipality or by calling us at 210-5319780.
They are collected in special recycling bins, placed in electrical and electronic shops, lamp shops, supermarket chains, businesses and organizations ,as well as in municipal places, such as Town Halls, Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP) and Open Care Centers for the Elderly (KAPI).
It is highly advisable that you place the lamps in the special bins carefully so that they do not break. In particular, straight lamps are disposed separately at the back of the special bin.
It is easy to recognize the lamps that are recycled, as their packaging bears the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin.
All energy-saving, fluorescent, low or high pressure sodium vapor lamps, high pressure mercury vapor lamps and LED technology lamps can be recycled.
Incandescent bulbs and halogen lamps are not collected.
